(overheard from a phone call somewhere on a dark and stormy night...)Turning Point. ...The name kinda sounds familiar. I think
I've seen the name in the papers and heard it on the radio a few times...oh yeah...Turning Point...THAT was the band that
my friends and customers were talking about the other night. They said Turning Point played all kinds of different music and
kept the dance floor busy all night. I heard they play some southern rock, classic rock, new country, blues, oldies...
hell, even some of their own stuff too. Whatever the crowd wanted to hear... they even did requests. They really made everyone
feel like part of the show. I heard they look like they're having a really great time doing it too. Very animated and active
on stage... not like some of those bands that just stand there or look like they're just going through the motions and can't
wait to go home, but very entertaining. All of them sang some songs and their harmonies were tight. Everyone said they were
pretty good musicians too. What's that? The piano player likes blues, the lead player likes hard rock, and the drummers a
jazz man... What about the singer? An old hippie? Oh... hillbilly... well... then he likes just about any kind of music as
long as it's good and not rap. Yep... Turning Point... 4 great guys and 1 great show.
